Our modern world moves at the speed of light.

We seek the quickest way from Point A to Point B. We buy what we can't afford to impress people we don't even like. All on our quest for more.

We're more connected than we've ever been. And yet, we're the loneliest society in the history of the world.

But how did our society become so convoluted?

I started this blog because I'm convinced the solutions to the problems of our modern world can be found in how our ancestors lived.

Simplistic. Cooperative. Close to the natural world.

I'm on a mission to explore the world through human-powered means in order to meet and learn from the people who still live off the land and sea.
